Cancellation & Return

At Mumtree, we take utmost care to deliver the product to best suit your requirement, and make you aware of the minute details at the time of ordering. However, if you the product is still not up to your expectations, then we would be happy to help you out.

Cancellation Policy

In case you want to cancel an order, please email orders@mumtree.in within 24 hours of placing the order or before the order is shipped out along with the reason for cancellation. Full refund for the order would be processed in this case.

Only for prepaid orders, we may allow cancellation after 24 hours of placing the order till it is delivered, but shipping charges would be deducted in the order refund. Unfortunately for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders we may not be able to process the cancellation request after 24 hours of placing the order.

Mumtree reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in case an incorrect price is listed or for any other reason. In such a situation, we will update you via email or call and refund 100% of any payment you may have made.

If a non-delivery or late delivery occurs due to a wrong or incomplete name/address provided by the customer, non-availability of a recipient at the time of delivery, or related reasons on the customer's side, any extra costs incurred by us for re-delivery will be claimed from the customer.

Return Policy

If product is Damaged, Incomplete or Inaccurate

We accept return requests for damaged, incomplete or incorrect specification products within 48 hours of order delivered on all our products. Return requests placed after 48 hours of order received are unfortunately non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please provide the reason for return so that we can take the right feedback forward and continuously improve our product to deliver the right value and experience to our customer :)

To submit your request, please email us with the picture for damaged or incorrect product along with the Order ID to orders@mumtree.in within 48 hours of receiving the product. We can offer you replacement, repair, or refund subject to conditions.

If you choose to get a replacement, we will pick up and replace the damaged part or complete product free of cost within 7 working days

If you choose to get a refund instead of a replacement for a defective/damaged product, it will be credited to your original method of payment within 7 working days after receiving the defective/damaged product at Mumtree location, subject to verification of the product for damage/defect.

For incomplete part, we may ship you the specific part separately within 7 working days.

Our products are designed for lifetime use, but in case they break due to rough handling after 1 or 2 weeks of use, we will not be able to process any return or refund request. Still you can write to us on orders@mumtree.in and we will try to assist you with the replacement product at some discount price. Application of discount will be at discretion of Mumtree depending on the individual situation.


Please note that we reserve the right to reject return requests from customers in case of frequent returns from them (> 3 returns in a financial year). Some pin codes are also not feasible for a reverse pickup, in which case we will need to ask you to ship it back to us. We do not offer reverse pickups outside India.


If you didn't like the product

At Mumtree, we try our best to depict the product specifications, utility for child, material used and other details in the product specification page so that you are 100% sure of buying the right product for your child.

However, in case after buying you feel that the product is not the right one for your child, then write to us on orders@mumtree.in within 72 hours of receiving the product along with your Name, Order ID and the reason for not liking the product. We will review the application and process it subject to:

The product should be in mint condition along with the original packaging and invoice

Customer will be required to ship the product back to us

The refund will be processed in form of store credit after deducting the shipping charges for original product delivery. Store credit would be valid for 6 months.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and the request will be processed with above conditions.
