Mumtree came into being while we were spending “isolation” time with our kid and getting into a never-ending search to find a suitable toy to keep him engaged and happy in a safe environment.
As a parent, it’s constantly worrying whether toys are safe and are impacting a child’s development in a positive way. They are meant to be played with, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they can’t be resourceful. Most toys provide some opportunity to learn, whereas a good toy develops a child’s Cognitive Abilities, Communication Skills, Motor Skills, and Social and emotional quotient.
THE MONTESSORI WAY; developed by Italian physician Maria Montessori, lays emphasis on children’s innate eagerness to learn new things, focusing on creating an apt environment tailored to every individual’s specific characteristics.
We at MUMTREE design toys that aid in bringing out the natural abilities in the kids. The toys are made from high-quality material to keep them safe and sustainable for children and the environment. Also, manufacturing is 100% Made in India to boost the local economy.

Are the toys safe for my kids?
We have designed toys keeping child safety in mind. There are no small or sharp objects which can hurt children, the colors on the toys are non-toxic, there are no electric objects, as well as the edges are smoothened.
What is the material of the toy?
Our toys are made of natural wood and designed beautifully keeping the safety of children in mind.
Why is the texture of my wooden toy uneven?
All our wooden toys are hand-crafted and decorated with child-friendly non-toxic paints by local artisans. Hence some slight unevenness and roughness are expected as it is made with the most natural wood and non-mechanical process, which makes our product unique.
How to clean the wooden toys?
Wooden toys naturally have anti-bacterial quality because of their porous surface. Wood absorbs the moisture and bacteria from the surface and that bacteria is said to eventually die instead of multiplying as it does on plastic. We prefer to clean the toy with warm water and put it in sunlight to dry the surface.
