To assemble the weighing balance follow these steps :-

• Attach the pillar to the base by sliding.

• Place the arms on the pillar, align the holes and fix it with the knob.

• Finally, hang the trays to the arms by thread. If the arms are not balanced and are tilted towards one side, then move the thread of the heavier arm towards the knob until it is balanced. 

• Before adding any weights make sure the arms are well balanced.

• To play the game, follow the instructions and put the weights with corresponding color to those in instruction. Find the correct answer by balancing the weights and fill the activity sheet accordingly.    

• To solve the equations, put the weights according to the activity sheet.

For example if the equation is :1 yellow + 1 green = 1______

Put 1 yellow and 1 green weight on the left side and on the right side put weights of each color one by one. When the weighing balance will show both sides balanced, color the empty weight in the activity sheet the same color as the weight color on the right side of the balance. Also, if the equation is, 1orange on left side =______green right side. Put the 1 orange weight on the left side and green weights on the right side one by one. When the weighing balance is balanced, note the number of the green weights in the given space.

Q1) How it is different from some other similar toys available in market?

Q2) Are these operations simple? My child is 5 years old. Will he be able to solve it?             

Ans) The activity in this product is especially designed for children of age 5 to 7 years.    

Q3) How many equations are there in the activity sheet?  

Ans) There are a total of 16 equations in the activity sheet spread into 4 different levels containing 4 equations each.     

Q4) Do all the levels have the same difficulty level?            

Ans) Its like a virtual game where difficulty level increases with each level so that it is fun yet challenging for kids to solve them and set a new score with each level.      

Q5) Do the weights have the exact same weight?               

Ans) Weights of different colors have different dimensions and weight. Also since its made of wood which can differ in density over different areas, weights of same color might differ slightly, but it won't affect the balancing operations.         

Q6) I am not getting the right answer for equations as provided in the sheet, what should i do?              

Ans) Check if you are performing the right calibration before solving each equation. Calibration will have big impact of the equation answer. You can use cello tape to fix the threads on arms as well.     

Q7) What kind of color is used in the toy?              

Ans) We have used non-toxic fruit based colors on the toy. Additionally its top coated with non-toxic sealer so that it doesn't come out easily & improve the durability of toy.
